Dominik Stein has over 15 years of financial leadership experience in CFO roles, guiding companies with revenues from $5M to $50M and teams of 25 to 500 employees. In 2018, he founded Stein Financial Consulting to provide businesses with financial expertise coupled with an entrepreneurial approach. His expertise spans healthcare, real estate, technology, and hospitality, with previous clients including Hudson Health, Resonance Partners/Ascend Homes, Clair, and Global Realty Capital/GFC, amongst others. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and financial expertise, Dominik has raised over $200M in equity and debt funding and advised on complex reorganizations and expansions. Dominik began his career at Lehman Brothers as an investment banker, transitioned to Bain & Company as a consultant, and later built a hospitality company from the ground up. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, where he received the Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Student Award. He holds BSc and MSc degrees from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, one of Europe’s best business schools. Dominik is also a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a recipient of the Top Texan Young Entrepreneurs Award.

A Level III CFA, Florian Schmitz has 20 years of experience in consulting, corporate finance, M&A, and real estate. He has advised numerous clients and invested in over $4 billion of real estate assets with investors such as Blackstone, Round Hill Capital, Deutsche Bank, Och-Ziff, and Stepstone. Prior to founding the real estate investment platform Ascend Homes, Florian was a partner at Resonance Partners and Global Founders Capital and served as Head of Acquisitions for Round Hill Capital. Florian holds a first-class honors law degree from the University of Cologne and has completed executive education courses at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Harvard Business School.

Andreas is a seasoned CFO and consultant with 15 years of experience in financial leadership, consulting, and strategic growth roles in the hospitality-, food solutions- and consumer goods sectors. As a global VP at HelloFresh, he developed the company’s customer engagement strategy and successfully launched merchandising and marketing strategies that drove significant growth. Before HelloFresh, Andreas served as CFO for Verts Mediterranean Grill, leading cost reductions and fundraising efforts. He began his career as an Engagement Manager at Oliver Wyman, consulting for retail and consumer goods clients. Andreas holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, with academic honors from the University of Michigan and the University of Texas.

Marcel Kanngiesser is an experienced financial consultant and real estate operations expert. Over his 12-year tenure as a Director at PWC, Marcel worked with clients across a range of roles in the U.S., leading business transformation initiatives from vision and strategy to architecture and execution. His background includes finance, accounting, portfolio management, asset management, HR, corporate real estate, and other functions. Marcel earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business and Accounting from the University of Maastricht.

André Horsch has a decade of experience in finance and consulting roles. He worked as a Project Manager in McKinsey & Company’s Consumer Goods and Retail Practice, advising clients on strategy, corporate finance, marketing, and growth. Prior to McKinsey, he was a financial advisor and analyst at a high-growth startup. André holds a Master’s in Management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

With eight years experience in financial analysis and consulting in the real estate sector, Anastasiia Koptsova has managed diverse investment portfolios, including multi-family and mixed-use properties, and closed transactions totaling over $25 million. Her expertise in financial modeling, deal structuring, and real estate analysis provides strategic insights for informed decision-making. As founder of Build-in City Corp, she leverages her technical foundation in architecture and real estate, earned through her Bachelor of Engineering from Moscow State University. She has furthered her expertise with financial courses at Yale University.
Anastasiia Koptsova, Consultant
Florian Betzinger is a Senior Advisor for Stein Financial Consulting with over 15 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. He is currently a Director at Bregal Unternehmerkapital. Previously, he was Principal at Centerbridge Partners in New York and London and an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt. Florian earned his BSc and MSc in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Tereza Stein is a seasoned professional with 10 years in consulting, business development, and customer success management, with a focus on startups in the real estate and healthcare sectors. Recognized for her entrepreneurial spirit and financial acumen, Tereza has held roles at Ori Living and Keller Williams and consulted with companies such as Genae and Uship. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of New York in Prague.
